When I began this small breeding program, I never thought I would be adding a Memory page this soon.
There are so many story's behind each horses or dogs on this page. Even the little ones that weren't here very long. Each of them taught me so much..They taught me to hold life close, embrace it , as it is sometimes so fleeting. For me not to hurry so much... to take some time to enjoy the day, just incase tomorrow never comes. .
I never have a day go by...as I open the door of the barn, on those peaceful early mornings, with the smell of fresh hay.
The sounds that meet me...they all know its the grain lady. It always starts my day with a smile.
As I look into the stalls, I sometimes picture those who used to be there, it brings back such memories.
I smile now remembering past things. Seeing a new foal...struggling to stand, the trust in it's eyes as it looks at its Mom. Seeing the love in its Mom's eyes,  her soft nickers as she speaks to it for the first time.
I can still get a tear...as I miss them so.
As hard as it was to lose them...I will never regret having them with me.
I Thank them all for allowing me to share in their lives.
I have been truly blessed.

Lost Butter & her Foal
1987....2000
FA April was my first Mini Mare
She was the boss mare,  she handled her herd with a stern hand, but with so much class.
She helped all the new moms when they were frightened during their delivery's. Boy...did she talk to those new babies. She taught all the new foals manners.
Her first son for me was Supreem Halter in his first 3 shows. He passed over the bridge to soon. Everytime I hear the Toby Keith song..I Should-a- been a Cowboy, it makes me smile.

Butter you are so missed, I hope you and your foal are running the green pastures free of all the pain. .
I asked April to meet you at the Rainbow Bridge, to show you the way home.
I can see you with
April, Cowboy & Flip
